Mobile Marketing

Basic Mobile Marketing package with opt-in list.
A multi-media programs builds a base of subscribers, your existing customers and prospects, who opt-in to receive regular messages from a business.

Turnkey Program connects your system/web site to wireless carriers (Verizon, Cingular, etc). Business creates messages to send and builds a database of subscribers. Packages are offered to store databases on provider's computer and use provider's system to send messages.

To Send Messages 4 things are needed.
1. Cell phone number
2. Message/text (up to 160 characters)
3. Subscriber's permission to send them (Opt-in)
4. Subscriber's carrier

Short Codes

5 Digit Number (e.g. 22552) assigned by carriers.
$500/mo. to $1,000/mo. for vanity code.
3 Month Minimum paid in advance.
NOTE: US Carriers require that businesses, who send to their customers over their network to their equipment, apply for a short code. It is how the carriers know who is sending the message and whom to blame when their customer calls them to complain. The application for a short code and provisioning is a two-month process.
All US Carriers program your short code into their systems, so that your subscribers that send text messages to that number will be routed through your aggregator onto you.

Opt-Out Opt-out option is required for every message sent to your database. The opt-in/opt-out system is set up by the carriers and regulators to keep spam and mass broadcasting of messages off the wireless system. This assures a high quality, self selected set of subscribers who want to receive communications from the participating businesses who use Short Codes and regulated text messaging.

Selling Content In order to sell content (binary pictures, ringtones, etc.) through this channel, one needs the following:
1. $10-$15k setup costs for short code, web site, connections/set up fees, etc.
2. $1000 to $1500 monthly messaging/management costs for messaging traffic, short code monthly rental, etc.
NOTE You will receive 1/3 to 2/3 of gross receipts from tariffs. Carriers keep 1/3 to 2/3 depending upon price points of tariff for call.
